"B" is for Butterfly

I have found that keeping a Kindergartner interested in a mixture of regular activities and new activities. They seem to like the consistency of activities such as making letters out of Playdoh on plastic coated cards, handwriting sheets and ABC books.
Activities such as crafts and snacks can change each week, adding interest. Katie made paper butterflies with Quentin this week by dribbling paint on one side of a piece of construction paper cut in the shape of a butterfly. By folding it over you can create symmetrical patterns
(which adds a math component as well!)
These cute butterfly snacks are made with peanut butter in celery sticks. Add raisins for eyes, carrot strips for antennae and pretzels for wings.
