Movements of the Earth, Sun and Moon

Styrofoam Ball 

Pencil 

Flashlight 

Aluminum Foil 

Dark Room 

Stick the pencil into the Styrofoam ball. 

Wrap up the ball in aluminum foil. 

Turn on flashlight, and turn off main light to make room dark. 

The person’s head is the (Earth), Styrofoam ball (Moon) flashlight (Sun).

Then one person holds the flashlight while the other person is turns their body with the moon, and using what you have learned about the movements of the earth, moon and sun, demonstrate their movements.
