The Power of Persia

 I started off the day building a scene of the Greek and Persian wars from a pop-up patterns book. My second, fourth and fifth students watched my fifth student and I played with it a long time. Then he got out the other Greek scenes we had made to play with them as well.
You could also reenact a battle or two with minature paper figures.
While we are studying the Greeks I thought I would teach them some vocabulary words that come to us from the Greek language.
