Seasonal Weather Study: Autumn

Today we wrapped up our study of weather by completing the weather study notebook page. At the top is a square to draw the clouds outside and on the bottom it encourages you to draw the view from a window of the house. We will be returning to this exercise in each of the seasons to see the differences in the view in each of them. There is also spaces to record the temperature, wind, precipitation and the times of sunset and sunrise. The boys were surprised to discover that currently we are experiencing only about 10 hours of daylight!
