Secret Formulas: To Each His Own Cola

Your in-home scientist now are challenged to make his own unique cola. Give him small cups of soda water colored brown, which you have prepared in advance. Have available sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, lime juice to add to this base. a drop at a time. He has a choice of how much of each to add. After each addition, have your student taste-test and decide if he needs to add more of an ingredient. Then he records how many drops of each ingredient he added. Each cola will be unique and so this is a great activity to do with several students.
