Watching a Lunar Eclipse or School When the Lessons Present Themselves

There is something very special about watching a lunar eclipse. My sky watchers went out, despite the chill in the air (notice the snow!) to watch it from 8:30 last night, but had to come in to warm up with cups of hot chocolate from time to time. Katie drew lots of pictures, and I will try to post them later. They reluctantly came in for the night at about 10:30. I was amazed that we were the only ones on our street that were out watching this fascinating event, but then Steven said, "Well, they have to get up early for school tomorrow." I am blessed that Sam and Katie could have school when the lessons present themselves. How much more exciting it was to watch it as it was happening instead of pictures in a book.
