December 20-26
What did we do this week?
We baked.
We Christmas shopped.
We celebrated with friends.

{Don't you just love the spelling?}
We had a movie night with refreshments.
Can you find the mistletoe?
Katie made my kissing ball I wanted.
Christmas Eve
After church, we all came back and opened the Christmas Eve presents, which were pajamas for everyone, Christmas ornaments for the kids from their grandparents and the Secret Santa presents.
We read The Night Before Christmas, set out our stockings and cookies and eggnog for Santa.

The Feast of St. Stephen
"Good King Wenceslas looked out, on the Feast of Stephen,
When the snow lay round about, deep and crisp and even;
Brightly shone the moon that night, tho' the frost was cruel,
When a poor man came in sight, gath'ring winter fuel...
...Therefore, Christian men, be sure, wealth or rank possessing,
Ye who now will bless the poor, shall yourselves find blessing."
I hope your Christmas was as blessed as ours.
Merry Christmas, my friends!
