Book Club: My Side of the Mountain, part 10: Living A Long Time in the Wilderness

Read My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George: The Autumn Provides Food and Loneliness, We All Learn About Halloween and What to Do with Hunters.

These projects should take several days:

Compare the wilderness survival techniques that you have written about to the ones that Sam uses in the Catskill mountains. Looking at the techniques for survival that you have researched and what you need for them, compare them in relation to those items that Sam has in his possession. 

Research the concepts of airflow and a "draft." How do these concepts relate to Sam staying warm inside the tree?

Research the subject of falconry and then prepare a short paper examining falconry and how these aspects  are presented in the novel.
