Class Reptilia

Class Reptilia are distinguished by these features:
  • vertebrates with eggs
  • cold blooded
  • have scales or scutes
"Reptilia comes from a Latin word that means "to creep." There are four orders of reptiles. Crocodilia contains alligators and crocodiles. Testudines are turtles and tortoises."
