Geography Postcard Album: Brazil

Ponte JK, Basilia
This week's  postcard comes from Brazil through Postcrossing and is of the JK bridge.
Oliveira writes, "In my opinion, the JK bridge is the bridge more beautiful of the world.  Do you agree? I wish you come o Brazil someday. If travelling is your passion, Brazil is your destiny."

Besides the postcard picture, we like looking at the stamps from around the world. Here are the ones on this postcard.

Brazil is the largest country in South America, and the fourth-largest country in the world. Because Brazil lies in the Southern Hemisphere, the seasons are reversed from those here in North America. The mighty Amazon River, the world's second-longest river (after the Nile), flows across northern Brazil. The area around the Amazon River is known as one of the world's largest rainforests.

For our taste of Brazilian food, we made wonderful Brazilian Cheese rolls, which were a lot like tiny popovers.

We have virtually visited 14 countries in our geography-postcard album (6.22% of the world).

We have two geography albums -one for states in the US and one for countries around the world.
I am asking for your help. If you live in any country we have not covered above or in any of the below states and would like to exchange a postcard with us, please email me or leave a comment on any geography-postcard album post and I will contact you about details. We will post your card when we do our page for that state! Thanks so much for helping us with this project. These are the states we need: Alaska, Arizona, Delaware, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming
