Fall Fun #2:Tissue Paper Autumn Leaves

These Tissue Paper Autumn Leaves are so easy and fun to make;
in no time my kids had a pile of them!
The first step is to make templates of different shaped leaves. You could trace around real leaves. Then cut out the center, leaving about 1/4 inch border between the center and the outside edge. Use this template to cut out the borders in several fall colors of construction paper (colored cardstock would also work.) If your kids are old enough they can use the template to cut out their own borders. You can save time and effort if you stack four sheets of construction paper at a time under the template as you cut.
