I love that you celebrate 12 days of Christmas! For most families it's over on 25th. Great tradition!
ReplyDeleteI love this. What a great collection of activities to do for Advent. I'm still thinking through our plans, but I've got a start on them.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome list of ideas.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Dawn
Ha! I couldn't keep the decorations up for the whole 12 days after Christmas. Once they're up they are constantly being fiddled with by the children, the candy cane knocked off and eaten by the dog, the two cats think the tree is real and attempt every single year to scale it and I'm sure if I let the chickens in the house they'd nest in it! If I could get away with putting it up Christmas eve and taking it down Boxing day I would, only I'm not allowed!!
ReplyDeleteWow, sounds like you have such a special month of activities ahead of you! I just love all the various multicultural celebrations :)
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Just the kind of activity advent calendar we need! We're hopping in now (a little late after all our birthday celebrations..) xxx
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a twelfth night party!! Fun! :) Our church began a "Posada" this year- we have a large Mexican/American community and they had each church ministry group host a night. We did not make it this year, but hope to next. We look at lights on the Feast of St. Lucy (I think the 13th) in her honor. Your calendar is awesome!
ReplyDeleteJust popping by to wish you a very merry Christmas and a new year full of wonderful things!
ReplyDeleteOh Phyllis I LOVE this. I wish I had seen it earlier in the month. You always do the most fun things~~ I want to wish you and your family a beautiful Christmas. You are such a blessing to me and I just pray for a wonderful day and New Year. Hugs and love.
