Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony
| Katie gathered the flowers from her garden. |
First we prepared things by gathering flowers,
brewing coffee (no, we did not roast the beans ourselves),
| I decided to make whole wheat pumpkin pan cakes as our bread. |
and popcorn.
While we ate our snack, we talked about the geography and culture of Ethiopia.

I'll just substitute tea in my cup please. Amusingly enough my kids really enjoy coffee (with large amounts of cream in it), while I can't stand the stuff.
ReplyDeleteWe all like both coffee and tea, although I would say that I like tea better than coffee. I must admit, too, that hot coffee mid-day in the summertime is not my thing either. I am an iced coffee in the summer fan.
DeleteOf course, I love this! Are you sure you don't want to move to Montana? We could have so much fun :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool! Popcorn with coffee, I never would have guessed!
ReplyDeleteI can not wait to get to Africa. Between you and Marie I shall have all the information at my finger tips!
