(left) One Year Ago, before braces, (right) This Week, after braces
James got his braces off!
Steven had his surgery on Thursday morning. All went well and they put a plate in on one side of this knee, but they are hoping that the other side will not need it. He will be going back in a week or two to confirm that it won't need the additional plate, which will mean additional surgery.
Meanwhile he will be in recovery at the hospital for a couple of days.
Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers.

And now that we have rain coming out of our clouds, we better have some umbrellas.
We went down to the beach.
We were entertained with puppet shows.

Help! Help! Help! Help me, Mike!
(upside down) Artie, you're an ant, remember...
you can walk on walls.
(right side up) Oh, right!
Next week (hopefully) we start our summer homeschool session.
I know, most of you are starting your NEW school and here I am still finishing up LAST year.
What can I say? Life's thrown us a few curve balls.

  1. My middle one got his braces off last week, too! AMAZING what they can do in such a short time, isn't it? Orthodontia has come so far since when we were kids!

  5. Sounds like a COOL week all around. So much fun, so many great projects. Congrats to James on the freedom from braces. Those pearly whites look great! That took some diligence I'm sure. Love the shark math. Prayers for Steven and all of you.
