This Beautiful Moment, Saying "Goodbye" Edition and Snapshot Summary June 27- July 2 {week 36}

{this moment}
A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. If you're inspired to do the same, leave a link to your 'moment' in the comments at SouleMama.

Snapshot Summary June 27- July 2

This week has been full of lots of pretending...a librarian...

 and a paperboy, to name a few.

James' 1/2 birthday.
He is a Christmas baby, so we celebrate his 1/2 birthday every year.

Katie made sea-themed Rice Krispie treats.

We made chalk pastel drawings of sparklers for the 4th.

We made a quilling project together.

We enjoyed the sunset together.

We played at the park with friends.

We have begun saying "goodbye" to friends...

which is not so easy to do.

We began celebrating the 4th of July with this fun cake.

And, we added Canada to our Postcard-Geography Album for Canada Day (July1).

We had fun with our zipline.

  11. Beautiful photos - the goodbye ones are particularly lovely and poignant - it must be incredibly difficult and now you have the added stress of Steven's leg.

    I was also touched by the birthday treat Katie made - very sweet.
