Monday's update with the Galleon/Privateers game, Katie (white) got caught in a storm and was blown S.
James (red) made port at Portabello and is loading his ship with gold.
Quentin, (green) a privateer, and Alex (blue), a loaded Spanish ship, have come side-to-side with each other. Next time we play, they will battle it out.
Sam (yellow)  has not quite made it to his destination, but he most likely will next time.

Wednesday's update on our Galleon/Privateer game:
Alex (blue) and Quentin (green) had a battle, with Quentin attempting to take the gold off of Alex's ship. Alex fought bravely however and Quentin had to retreat. Sam (yellow) made it to port and is provisioning his ship. James (red) and Katie (white) are making progress toward Spain with their gold still on board.

  1. I think that siblings reading together are among my favorite moments of all! That Galleon/Privateers game looks like such fun learning. I'm sure Katie will weather the storm :) I think we will do your finger print/folding painting soon!
