The Colorful World of Winter

We have paid attention to the stark contrast of the dark tree limbs and the white snow, but is there more to observe in the winter? Is there colors to enjoy?

Here are some of the things we found on our winter colors nature walk. We noticed that not only do the colors stand out

but also we noticed the richness of textures

and contrasts of light and shadow

Then we brought some berries in to sketch for our nature journals.
