Making Consistent Sized Cookies

When baking cookies with children (especially several children at once), we have found it very useful, in order to keep the size of the cookies consistent, to have something for the child to be able to refer. Pick something that is the size you want your cookies and have it on the table so that your child can use it for comparison. This year we used an unshelled walnut, which gave us nice big, but not too big cookies.

  1. That's a fabulous idea! It's always so much easier when you have a visual to compare to!
