Class Amphibia: Frogs

We began our unit on frogs with a discussion of what amphibians are by looking at their characteristics. We noted some of the members of this class; frogs and toads, salamanders and newts and caecilians.

We focused on the life cycle of the frog and the boys finished pictures of each part of the cycle. Then they painted the pictures.

They especially liked adding googly-eyes to the adult frog.
